Hamstring Pain

Hamstring pain is felt in the back of the thigh and is common in runners, field and court athletes, and anyone who sprints or stretches suddenly.

A sudden pull while sprinting, or a nagging tightness that never quite goes away, can both be hamstring trouble.

How High-Pressure Cryotherapy (HPC) may help

High-Pressure Cryotherapy (HPC) uses high-pressure carbon dioxide (CO₂) to rapidly cool the skin over a specific treatment area. For hamstring pain, the treatment area is the sore part of the back of the thigh. HPC may help with pain and inflammation in that area. It does not repair a torn muscle. The recommended regimen is usually 4 to 5 sessions, then we reassess together. Many patients report relief after one or two visits, although individual responses may vary. HPC does not repair a torn muscle. It treats the sore area, and for many people it may help manage pain and inflammation so the back of the thigh feels more comfortable.

Every treatment begins with a free consultation. Typical treatment takes about 3–6 minutes per area. HPC is not a substitute for medical care and does not replace a diagnosis.
